This page is the landing page for many of our family photo albums. We are originally from the southeasern Indian state of Tamil Nadu (country of Tamil language speaking people; Tamil being a Dravidian language and is considered to be an ancient language of the Indian sub-continent, different from Sanskrit, the Indo-Iranian-Germanic branch)

We moved to the United States of America in late eighties and lived in the North Eastern state of Massachusetts and now in the South Eastern state of Florida. Our immediate ancestors are from Thanjavur (Tanjore, the rice bowl of India) district, who came during the construction of the temple in Vedaraniam (aka Thirumaraikkadu). Prior to moving to Vedaraniam (alternate spellings: Vedharanyam, Vedharaniyam) our ancestors (Saiva Vellalars; Shaiva Vellalla) were from the Ramanatha Puram district in central Tamil Nadu state.
